Yep. It’s a Kangaroo Rat.

As a family Christmas present to my mother in law and my own mother, my husband and his siblings, and myself all drew a picture of a bird, which we then put together for the mothers. This is my attempt at my bird, Spiro, a lineolated parakeet.

Halloween is coming, and for me the best part is the pumpkin seeds. But in order to make pumpkin seeds more enjoyable, you have to carve the pumpkin and put a candle in it. This year, this is my creation, a haunted house with a ghost. It sort of worked.

Here’s the next go at the group illustration topic. This time the topic was summer movies. These two guys are from the movie Up, a truly heart-warming movie.

On the last day of our Hawaii trip, Nathan and I went up the north coast of the Big Island  to another botanical garden. This particular garden had an aviary in which it kept peacocks, lots of them. I was very excited to find this momma peahen and her baby.

I told you, I like waterfalls. A lot.

I like water, especially in the form of water falls.
